创造宽松学术交流环境，弘扬科学精神和学术争鸣，促进学科的交叉融合与合作，探索科学前沿，求实创新是北京生命生命科学论坛的宗旨。本次论坛面向广大科研人员，重点培训昆虫科学最近几年发展的新理论与新方法，涉及到昆虫分子生物学、昆虫化学生态学、昆虫行为学、昆虫免疫学、昆虫细胞生物学等在内的多个前沿领域。主要包括植物与昆虫的关系，昆虫信息素，昆虫的天然免疫，昆虫对杀虫剂的抗性机理，抗虫疫苗研究进展，昆虫分子系统发育分析，害虫的整合控制理论和技术、害虫管理的遗传工程学、昆虫的功能基因、昆虫的功能蛋白家族、RNA干扰在害虫管理方面的应用前景等关键科学问题。 

会议概况

本次论坛由中国科学院北京生命科学研究院、中国科学院动物研究所农业虫害鼠害综合治理研究国家重点实验室与海外华人昆虫学者联合会（OCEA）共同举办。邀请多位来自国内外的著名专家就昆虫科学研究的新理论、新方法、新技术进行培训。旨在为广大昆虫学科研工作者，尤其是研究生提供一个学习交流的桥梁，构建一个与国内外著名昆虫学家面对面接触的平台，将昆虫科学研究的新理论、新技术、新方法乃至发表高水平SCI论文融入各自的学习、研究之中，极大地提升我国昆虫学研究的创新水平。前两届会议（2006年，2009年）受到全国昆虫学工作者的广泛欢迎，2011年将丼办第三届培训班。
